"Divide to Conquer" is the third episode of Season 3, and the 29th overall. It originally aired on February 23, 2012.
Story[]
Three days into the season, Joe and Tommy have 32 tags filled of 300, more than any previous year. However, back pain forces Joe to leave early and possibly be out for days, leaving Tommy in charge in the boat.
Troy splits his team into two teams. One with himself and Clint and his sons Jacob and Chase make up the other. In the beginning, Jacob and Chase struggle getting Alligators, but make up for it by bagging the biggest of the day. In a similar situation, Junior splits his team into two, one being himself and Malcolm, and the other being his sons Willie and Randy.
On the bayou, two greenhorns hit the swamp. Cousins Austyn and Blake were given 5 tags by a buyer known as Coach, and can earn more by bagging all 5. After bringing in a live gator to the boat, the duo are able to bring all 5 in.
